Sulev Antsov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hong Qing having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Alvar Ponce got a free kick in the 37th minute. Sílvio de Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Hong Qing made a huge save. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Alan Marinelli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luís Guilherme Gaúcho in the 42 minute of the game. With a little luck, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Hong Qing got control of the ball when Lauro Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Club Atlético Lea Papá's Rafael Delgado was substituted for José Antonio Chamot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Augusto do Nascimento in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hong Qing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sílvio de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Sílvio de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruce Lee F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio de Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Donose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lauro Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Bruce Lee F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Bruce Lee F.C.'s Jano Paes was substituted for Germano Saldanha. Club Atlético Lea Papá were furious when Gao Chuan was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 80 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético Lea Papá:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Sílvio de Senna put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hong Qing. Sulev Antsov might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hong Qing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sulev Antsov ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Atlético Lea Papá made a substitution. Aldo-Pedro Poy replaced Anton Donose. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bruce Lee F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlético Lea Papá had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
