Bedrettin Özguven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Pavel Romanescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Leonard Piechocki managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amado Arotza in the 8 minute of the game. Dolfo Burgo made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when 孟振邦 sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bedrettin Özguven in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavel Romanescu saved FC Pegasas Siauliai from getting behind. Dolfo Burgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Alves in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match FC Pegasas Siauliai got a corner. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pierre Lyngdal ran over to the corner to take the kick. 19 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Bedrettin Özguven came free, but Pavel Romanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the game Adriano Aparecido made a throw-in which Hermínio Alves played forward. Dolfo Burgo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Miltos Kotsovolos sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 25 minutes, Bedrettin Özguven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bedrettin Özguven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bedrettin Özguven came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bedrettin Özguven couldn't finish the play. FC Pegasas Siauliai were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pierre Lyngdal took the corner. Miltos Kotsovolos came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dolfo Burgo could save by the left post. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedrettin Özguven in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dolfo Burgo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonard Piechocki hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Pavel Romanescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arif Onurhan. Murillo Sá hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
