Ke Feng Ang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ke Feng Ang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from M. Agus Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Piotr Jenkot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Tino was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on GORNIK PIASKI's corner Piotr Jenkot fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Norberto Tino quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match was over Santa Lucia de Merlo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GORNIK PIASKI throughout the match.
