A sloppy throw-in by Sergio Berti in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Foot Ball Club di Roma's Ettore Scarcella. A collision led to Foot Ball Club di Roma getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Biagio Di Marco hit a great ball. Aldo Navarro made a great header on Nina fc's corner, it was just that Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Scoca in the 20th minute of play forced Nina fc's goalkeeper Higinio Sansone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Rubens Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nina fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Higinio Sansone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Di Marco in the 25th minute of the match. When Rubens Prata came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Nina fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubens Prata couldn't finish the play. After 30 minutes Nina fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Biagio Di Marco who took care of the corner kick. 33 minutes into the match, Nina fc's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Di Marco came free, but Higinio Sansone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nina fc's Higinio Sansone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Di Marco in the 34th minute of play. Rubens Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubens Prata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Pardini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Higinio Sansone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Scoca in the 43rd minute of play. Alessandro Anastasi kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Nina fc's Fulgencio Romildo was substituted for Aaron Euloxu. Nina fc's Saul Macerio was substituted for Rubens Prata. In the 48th match minute, Foot Ball Club di Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Anastasi to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Macerio to make the kick off. In the 59th minute Biagio Di Marco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Anastasi made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Armando Ceresoli however managed to control. Alvaro Pardini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Macerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
