Andréas Linquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ðuza Glowacz went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Oskar Browall quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Niklas Molander, made in the 21st minute of the game. 25 minutes into the game, one of Elmtaryd Agunnaryd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 27 minutes into the game, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aaron Ramsdal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Zygmunt Nakoneczny hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gedeon Káposztás was the one to do the kick off.
