The supporters of Red Proud FC booed when Gimnasia y tiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Karatzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Velasques in the 21st minute of play forced Gimnasia y tiro's goalkeeper Wieslaw Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Red Proud FC defense, Reynaldo Montrelle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lartaun Ibar. The Red Proud FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lartaun Ibar should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
