Luís Hernandez started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Maxim Van den Berghe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Invictus FC and the Atletas Campesinos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Maxim Van den Berghe hit a great ball. Eddy Stoorms made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Hernandez in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Invictus FC booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Rosio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Mallecots in the 11th minute of the match. When Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Luís Hernandez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eddy Stoorms. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paulo Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Mallecots in the 34th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sean Mallecots stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Sean Mallecots managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Invictus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sean Mallecots was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eddy Stoorms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Luís Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Stoorms having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Luís Hernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddy Stoorms. Invictus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Hernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Paulo Rosio was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Sean Mallecots capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sean Mallecots really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Eddy Stoorms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Atletas Campesinos F.C. were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Invictus FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Ostadar took the corner. Remigio Handi made a great header on Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s corner, it was just that Invictus FC's Eddy Stoorms managed to reach the ball for a save. The throw-in from Pepe Burris in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Invictus FC's Alexander Hendrickx. Emmanuel Hylen hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Ostadar couldn't finish the play. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
