Vintilă Murgu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Huns's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicholas Ramachandran in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronan McCunn came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicholas Ramachandran ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Huns's Nicholas Ramachandran was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rhys Dimmock in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronan McCunn was the one to do the kick off. Vintilă Murgu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reese Otto in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Reese Otto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Huns's Vintilă Murgu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vintilă Murgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reese Otto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronan McCunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rhys Dimmock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronan McCunn went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After 90 played minutes, Zamalek FC's Davis Duff shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vintilă Murgu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zamalek FC reached it. 93 minutes into the game, Fred Kirkpatrick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Vintilă Murgu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Zamalek FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Huns's performance. The match ended with a win for The Huns.
