Jake Leonard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Teves in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, ZEZOM TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Neron Veterini came free, but Enzo Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Ederono in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the ZEZOM TEAM defense, Neron Veterini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Morais. The ZEZOM TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Morais should have stopped the shot. Andreas Laas made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nestor Ederono. Enzo Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neron Veterini, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save WINNING ELEVEN from getting a goal against them. After 49 minutes WINNING ELEVEN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julian Pyrzyce who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Julian Pyrzyce almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard did a great save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A sloppy throw-in by Mujahid Namasivayam in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by WINNING ELEVEN's Vilhelm Gustafsson. In the 68th minute, Mujahid Namasivayam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, ZEZOM TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mujahid Namasivayam to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Morais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Neron Veterini went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. ZEZOM TEAM's Avram Râznicu was substituted for Wojciech Kaczanek. ZEZOM TEAM made a substitution. José Vieira replaced Julian Pyrzyce.
