WINNING ELEVEN's Neron Veterini got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Neron Veterini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maximiliano Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neron Veterini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes of play, WINNING ELEVEN's Neron Veterini made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Astudillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the SAN MARTIN F.C. defense, Neron Veterini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Astudillo. The SAN MARTIN F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Astudillo should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Neron Veterini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Nemesio Tximitx managed to get in a good position for a shot. WINNING ELEVEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Tximitx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Astudillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, WINNING ELEVEN's Neron Veterini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Astudillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Astudillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximiliano Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neron Veterini in the 26th minute of the match. Maximiliano Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neron Veterini in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Neron Veterini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neron Veterini ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Neron Veterini in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Astudillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute Neron Veterini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neron Veterini to make the kick off. Silverio Gipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Maximiliano Astudillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WINNING ELEVEN. Alejandro Mendebal made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rigoberto Firmo. Maximiliano Astudillo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Neron Veterini showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 55 minute of play. Maximiliano Astudillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Neron Veterini went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Maximiliano Astudillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save SAN MARTIN F.C. from getting a goal against them. WINNING ELEVEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Tximitx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match was over WINNING ELEVEN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SAN MARTIN F.C. throughout the match.
