Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zoil Pequeño kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Jarstein narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Bjørn Ironside hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's Moritz Hasenjäger broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zoil Pequeño might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Jarstein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zoil Pequeño ran back to his position shaking his head. Zoil Pequeño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Rune Jarstein made a huge save. Wilhelm Nienhaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Boldu having to interfere. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Lothar Heber hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoil Pequeño in the 25th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Zoil Pequeño notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein. Rune Jarstein was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jose Boldu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedikt Bensch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo da Silva in the 34th minute of play forced Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Jose Boldu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zoil Pequeño in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Jarstein saved Hertha 1969 from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Wilhelm Nienhaus put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jose Boldu. Lüder Roppel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Elenescu in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wilhelm Nienhaus made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Wilhelm Nienhaus hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 56th minute of play forced Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Jose Boldu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 59th minute of play. Jose Boldu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Melzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Zoil Pequeño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Jarstein was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Hertha 1969 made a substitution. Nils Hovermann replaced Wilhelm Nienhaus. The crowd rose to their feet as Hertha 1969's Zé Paulo da Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jose Boldu. That made the score 2-2 after 68 minutes of play. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Leobardo Padierna was substituted for Zoil Pequeño. Rune Jarstein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leobardo Padierna's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hertha 1969's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fortun Bobes was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo ScrugenFC's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Stefan Mayer got a free kick in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo da Silva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jose Boldu. Zé Paulo da Silva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Leobardo Padierna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Jarstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After 94 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Mayer. The Hertha 1969 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
