Real Helland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Przemyslaw Ciupierdo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute Przemyslaw Ciupierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Jowsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Real Helland's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Ekelund came free, but Jon-Erik Ringvold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Jay Jowsey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Real Helland's Jon-Erik Ringvold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ekelund in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Jean Carl Cassar Torreggiani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ole Meisingset recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Sebastian Ekelund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Attard Gunners's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Ekelund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon-Erik Ringvold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Ekelund in the 36th minute of play forced Real Helland's goalkeeper Jon-Erik Ringvold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Helland's goalkeeper Jon-Erik Ringvold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sondre Helliesen made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tor-Kristian Seim. After a defensive mix-up in Attard Gunners's zone, Przemyslaw Ciupierdo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jay Jowsey came out of the goal and Przemyslaw Ciupierdo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alan Said was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Ekelund might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jon-Erik Ringvold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Ekelund ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute Doriva Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Jowsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Attard Gunners's Sebastian Ekelund in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 79th minute, Przemyslaw Ciupierdo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Attard Gunners's Michael Testaferrata Olivier was substituted for Alan Said. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Helland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Godwin Sapiano was slow to take the kick. During this time Attard Gunners's players had a chance to rest. In the 88th minute Michael Testaferrata Olivier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon-Erik Ringvold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
