SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lisandro Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Mattsson having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Lisandro Nuñez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Freddie Mattsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 黄超亦 in the 21st minute of play. Ken Sodja scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Astigar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Lisandro Nuñez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN LORENZO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brasibetanõ Pænthers the free kick. After 29 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Nuñez. Dario Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Dario Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Sandberg in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Lisandro Nuñez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Brasibetanõ Pænthers's goal looked a bit too open when Wen Lang Qing came free, but Freddie Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 黄超亦 struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Dario Astigar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brasibetanõ Pænthers. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Percival Costa made a kick off. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Costa in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Lisandro Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Nuñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brasibetanõ Pænthers's zone, Lisandro Nuñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Mattsson came out of the goal and Lisandro Nuñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brasibetanõ Pænthers's Xiao Bin Xun was substituted for Adrian Valler. Freddie Mattsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 75th minute. Brasibetanõ Pænthers's Freddie Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 79th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Elias Rodrigues in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SAN LORENZO FC's Lv Tian Yuan. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brasibetanõ Pænthers's goalkeeper Freddie Mattsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Freddie Mattsson made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Rafael Tiniebra sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Lv Tian Yuan got a free kick in the 88th minute. Brasibetanõ Pænthers's Freddie Mattsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Brasibetanõ Pænthers from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Xiao Bin Xun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the SAN LORENZO FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brasibetanõ Pænthers.
