The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johnathan Bowden to strike the kick off in the second half. Argi Casta made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Indiana Jones however managed to control. Erik Van Buyten charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Van Buyten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albino Brion's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Christof Deroek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Christof Deroek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnathan Bowden in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Aguilera saved Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting behind. In the 88thth minute of the game Johnathan Bowden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Johnathan Bowden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Selebi-Phikwe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Demy Ottens was substituted for Tiberiu Ruşdea. Selebi-Phikwe's Louis-Philippe Pelsmaeckers was substituted for Marc Thidén. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Selebi-Phikwe from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
