TALLERES DE CBA's Lucio Afonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save TALLERES DE CBA from getting a goal against them. Alfredinho Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucio Afonso having to make a save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Bernard to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to TALLERES DE CBA getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Antonio Bernard hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Moraes in the 55th minute of play forced TALLERES DE CBA's goalkeeper Lucio Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Bernard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Anastasios Bouroutzikas made a huge save. In the 83rd minute Leandro Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TALLERES DE CBA's Lucio Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdeněk Zápotocký in the 87th minute of play. Lucio Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Saldanha in the 89th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Leandro Saldanha notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of TALLERES DE CBA's Lucio Afonso. Lucio Afonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while TALLERES DE CBA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
