After some careless play in the Premier FC defense, Lázaro Cefero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorival Freire. The Premier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorival Freire should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Marno F.C.. Igor Jokin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dorival Freire. 0-2. Lázaro Cefero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorival Freire having to make a save. In the 12th minute Lázaro Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Igor Jokin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Premier FC's Dorival Freire did a great save. Lázaro Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lázaro Cefero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorival Freire having to make a save. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Premier FC's goalkeeper Dorival Freire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Cefero came free, but Dorival Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Gabriel Mónos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dorival Freire quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dorival Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorival Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Cefero in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s Lázaro Cefero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorival Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute Duda Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Premier FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gregorio Sasoin hit a great ball. Lázaro Cefero might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorival Freire. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Cefero ran back to his position shaking his head. Dorival Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Cefero, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Lázaro Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marno F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Cefero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeledon Valiente to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Valiente came free, but Dorival Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorival Freire made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Valiente in the 57th minute. Marno F.C.'s Gabriel Mónos got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marno F.C. made a substitution. Doni Guedes replaced Igor Jokin. Marno F.C.'s Lech Mleczewski was substituted for Gabriel Mónos. 66 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s Zeledon Valiente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorival Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Premier FC's Dorival Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Valiente in the 68th minute of play. Zeledon Valiente received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dorival Freire came out and tried to block the shot, but Zeledon Valiente slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s Zeledon Valiente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorival Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 78 minutes Premier FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lázaro Cefero who took care of the corner kick. Doni Guedes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Lech Mleczewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dorival Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Zeledon Valiente dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dorival Freire, 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Zeledon Valiente kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dorival Freire. That made the score 0-6 in the 96 minute of play. The Marno F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
