In the 31st minute, Luiz Gustavo do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laçın Cumayev was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Marco Pedriza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Jordão in the 37th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Zigmantas Gimbutas made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Braga booed when RACIN DE CHAWEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tulio Mangas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 minutes RACIN DE CHAWEN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benjamin de Lara who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to RACIN DE CHAWEN getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Marcelino Verdeja hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, RACIN DE CHAWEN's goalkeeper Marco Pedriza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas.
