The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 3rd minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Dorival Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Premier FC's Dorival Freire got control of the ball when Zigmantas Gimbutas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dorival Freire was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zigmantas Gimbutas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Benjamin de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Freire having to interfere. Dorival Freire was a little too slow when Zigmantas Gimbutas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. Zigmantas Gimbutas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Dorival Freire made a huge save. Dorival Freire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin de Lara went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the game, Zigmantas Gimbutas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dorival Freire was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Premier FC's Dorival Freire. Dorival Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorival Freire was a little too slow when Zigmantas Gimbutas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 6-0. 36 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Premier FC's Dorival Freire. Dorival Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorival Freire came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas. But to his dismay, Zigmantas Gimbutas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 44th play minute Zigmantas Gimbutas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dorival Freire. 10-0. Zigmantas Gimbutas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zigmantas Gimbutas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Dorival Freire made a huge save.

51 minutes into the game, one of Premier FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev got control of the ball when Duda Velloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlin Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Zigmantas Gimbutas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zigmantas Gimbutas came free, but Dorival Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorival Freire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. SC Braga's Geraldo Lucas was substituted for André Jordão. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Zigmantas Gimbutas put it in 13-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dorival Freire. SC Braga made a substitution. Stig-Åke Mattsson replaced Zigmantas Gimbutas. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda Velloso in the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Stig-Åke Mattsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Dorival Freire was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Stig-Åke Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dorival Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Mattsson notched a goal, 16-0, to the right of Premier FC's Dorival Freire. Dorival Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stig-Åke Mattsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorival Freire having to make a save. Premier FC's Dorival Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 96th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Stig-Åke Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Mattsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorival Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
