The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Joaquin Phoenix hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Josef Kožíšek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes, Sven-Edvin Jansson made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Templars FC's André Courtois tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márk Kovács in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Phoenix in the 18th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márk Kovács recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Phoenix, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Sven-Edvin Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Lozano kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márk Kovács in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márk Kovács in the 37th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Josef Kožíšek in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GuateFortín's Máximo Perrone. 43 minutes in the game Josef Kožíšek did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Adelino Marques. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ivan Lozano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márk Kovács in the 54th minute of play. Sven-Edvin Jansson scored 2-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Courtois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Sven-Edvin Jansson put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of André Courtois. Templars FC made a substitution. Ziya Onur Muzaffer replaced Benedict Cumberbatch. GuateFortín's Pablo Mora was substituted for Máximo Perrone. After 70 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Mora. After taking down the ball on Templars FC's corner Adelino Marques fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nery Pumpido quite easily take care of the ball. After 81 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Mario Gomez. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Sammut, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 88th minute, Jonathan Sammut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
