In the 16th minute Gery Burhanuddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berthold Bach came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Thierry Henry. But to his dismay, Thierry Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute GuateFortín were awarded a corner. Angel Alvarenga went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on GuateFortín's corner Stanyo Búnkov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Berthold Bach quite easily take care of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Angel Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Berthold Bach quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Berthold Bach didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Berthold Bach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berthold Bach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sven-Edvin Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Thierry Henry made the kick off in the second half. Nery Pumpido came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by SV Klingsmoos's De-la-Cruz Fantasia. But to his dismay, De-la-Cruz Fantasia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gery Burhanuddin in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Henry in the 56th minute of play forced SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Berthold Bach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Henning, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Zico Zellier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berthold Bach having to interfere. GuateFortín made a substitution. Mario Gomez replaced Thierry Henry. GuateFortín's William Villanueva was substituted for Sven-Edvin Jansson. GuateFortín's Pablo Mora was substituted for Zico Zellier. After 66 played minutes SV Klingsmoos got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Slier. GuateFortín's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
