Bican Lebib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zellier in the 23rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Epifanio Isauro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sven-Edvin Jansson's late challenge caught a ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Edvin Jansson helped the player get up and apologised. Bican Lebib made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Sven-Edvin Jansson sent off a good shot on target. After 47 minutes, Cafu Carlos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC and the GuateFortín players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC's Cafu Carlos got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Edvin Jansson to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Isauro came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Isauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nery Pumpido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selim Gulson in the 70th minute of the match. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Selim Gulson in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Selim Gulson got free with Nery Pumpido in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC's Selim Gulson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nery Pumpido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bican Lebib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Isauro in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nery Pumpido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC's Epifanio Isauro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. GuateFortín made a substitution. Mario Gomez replaced Thierry Henry. GuateFortín's Pablo Mora was substituted for Máximo Perrone. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Pottsepp in the 92nd minute of play. The ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
