Powiśle Warszawa's Stanislav Saktor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Li in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 23rd minute of play forced Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Stanislav Saktor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislav Saktor came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Galati Harbour Cats's Ianis Man. But to his dismay, Ianis Man quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Powiśle Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Li came free, but Stanislav Saktor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Dan Petrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Petrescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislav Saktor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dominik Maziarski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Octavian Soare made a huge save. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Maziarski in the 35th minute of play. Stanislav Saktor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Dembkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Stanislav Saktor came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li. But to his dismay, Shi Li quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Powiśle Warszawa booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Sessa didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pawel Wolnik to make the kick off. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Galati Harbour Cats walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
