Rivermania FC's Victor Bazkoare quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nistor Berca, made in the 7th minute of the game. Erasmo Lorencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Santos Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Lorencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Santos Guillen made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Rivermania FC's Densill 李伟锋 got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Heriberto in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Hulberto saved Rivermania FC from getting behind. Rivermania FC's Severino Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Heriberto in the 31st minute of play. When Nistor Berca came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nistor Berca couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Heriberto in the 38th minute of play forced Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Severino Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Rivermania FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Fabiano Cavalcante took the corner. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Leon Seber sped through Rivermania FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severino Hulberto. Severino Hulberto came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s Damian Heriberto. But to his dismay, Damian Heriberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Lorencio made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Guido Ricart in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rivermania FC's Alejandro Uhin. 61 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Abreu came free, but Severino Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute of the game Amado Cuartio made a throw-in which Jacobo Santxol played forward. If Damian Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Santxol came free, but Santos Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rivermania FC's Teodoro Foro was substituted for Amado Cuartio. Rivermania FC were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Bazkoare took the corner. After 79 minutes of play, Rivermania FC's Erasmo Lorencio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Guillen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rivermania FC made a substitution. Efrain Seme replaced Erasmo Lorencio. In the 84th minute Rosendo Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Rivermania FC's Severino Hulberto got control of the ball when Damian Heriberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santos Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Santxol in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, Rivermania FC's Severino Hulberto got control of the ball when Damian Heriberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jacobo Santxol came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Rivermania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Santxol couldn't finish the play. The A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
