The Galati Harbour Cats players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vęgoria Team were winning 0-1.

When Iwan Hodyl came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Vęgoria Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwan Hodyl couldn't finish the play. Octavian Soare made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Roman Sierocki sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Galati Harbour Cats booed when Vęgoria Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwan Hodyl didn't get a good kick on the ball.
