Walter Samuel kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Odin came free, but André Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Delta FS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
