David Velecký came out of the goal and Felix van As tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Campos Ramiro came free, but Yorrick Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rohozec's David Velecký proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Rohozec from getting a goal against them. SV Balverliefd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix van As in the 16th minute. The corner led SV Balverliefd's Benny De Potter to fire away a dangerous shot which David Velecký despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The corner ended in Felix van As almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rohozec's David Velecký did a great save. The supporters of Rohozec booed when SV Balverliefd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Lindelöf didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. In the 93rd minute Steven Homan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Velecký saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute Filip Punišić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
