NFC Eagles 22's Emil Houwing was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Przemyslaw Tscherner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when 盛世 高文竞 got free with Przemyslaw Tscherner in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's 盛世 高文竞 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Przemyslaw Tscherner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciccio Tacconi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos Vaz in the 17th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Ciccio Tacconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Zé Carlos Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Tacconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 盛世 高文竞 to make the kick off. Przemyslaw Tscherner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 盛世 高文竞, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ted Jansen made a great header on NFC Eagles 22's corner, it was just that Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Przemyslaw Tscherner managed to reach the ball for a save. Raymond Schouten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Przemyslaw Tscherner having to make a save. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Gugu Mandrak was substituted for João Vítor Branco. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- made a substitution. Ryszard Nowak replaced Perivaldo Loyola. A collision led to Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Joe Sulser hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Viorel Buș got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 盛世 高文竞 in the 75th minute of play forced Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tscherner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Przemyslaw Tscherner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 盛世 高文竞 in the 81st minute of play. NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. Gugu Mandrak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciccio Tacconi came out and tried to block the shot, but Gugu Mandrak slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 85th minute. When Zé Carlos Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Carlos Vaz couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes NFC Eagles 22's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andrey Kovtun who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gugu Mandrak got free with Ciccio Tacconi in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciccio Tacconi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ryszard Nowak in the 94th minute. NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
