Renato Portalupi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Arcadio Buendia made a huge save. Edgardo Rozarius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arcadio Buendia having to make a save. Grosso United's Arcadio Buendia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Rozarius in the 12th minute of play. Arcadio Buendia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Portalupi in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Codruț Domuță put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arcadio Buendia. Arcadio Buendia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torrey Molloy, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 37 played minutes Brujas KV got a freekick which was hit by Ragıp İkinci. Fikri Bera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th match minute, Brujas KV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragıp İkinci to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Codruț Domuță could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Arcadio Buendia however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torrey Molloy in the 47th minute of play forced Grosso United's goalkeeper Arcadio Buendia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tạ Boll was the one to do the kick off. Petruț Dicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonín Orlík in the 56th minute of the match. Petruț Dicu made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Antonín Orlík sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Gustavo da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Dicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arcadio Buendia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Portalupi in the 81st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Codruț Domuță sped through Grosso United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arcadio Buendia. Grosso United's Ulises Gartzen was substituted for Gustavo da Costa. Ulises Gartzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Petruț Dicu made a huge save. In the 94th minute Edgardo Rozarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arcadio Buendia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grosso United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
