In the 16th minute Torrey Molloy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Austra 04 VFC's Marcus Pollard was substituted for Beila Mora. In the 83rd match minute, Austra 04 VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachary Madej to maneuver through the defense. Hudson Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Domuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Romero got free with Hudson Gaúcho in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Brujas KV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Austra 04 VFC.
