Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Vascogoianiense FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Kleen in the 25th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Sousa in the 26th minute of play forced SvE United's goalkeeper Filcho Nanev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zlatan Denishev was the one to do the kick off. Despite this Filcho Nanev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 91 minutes, Rigoberto Deunoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SvE United and the Vascogoianiense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes SvE United got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Deunoro. Filcho Nanev made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Dorian Quirino sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatan Denishev in the 93rd minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SvE United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vascogoianiense FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
