An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Cardozo in the 13th minute of play forced SvE United's goalkeeper Filcho Nanev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SvE United's Filcho Nanev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Xi De in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Inestrosa in the 20th minute of play forced SvE United's goalkeeper Filcho Nanev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filcho Nanev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Inestrosa in the 23rd minute of the match. Zlatan Denishev took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Aguilar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zlatan Denishev was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Vitko Kozlov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 51 played minutes, Club Olimpia's Denis Inestrosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filcho Nanev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Olimpia reached it. Fernando Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Filcho Nanev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Olimpia's Jack Hägglund pulled a muscle in his back after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zlatan Denishev during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Club Olimpia made a substitution. Roberto Bueldi replaced Jack Hägglund. After 88 played minutes SvE United got a freekick which was hit by Zlatan Denishev. In the 95th minute, Matey Balabanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the SvE United defense, Victor Anaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filcho Nanev. The SvE United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filcho Nanev should have stopped the shot.
