In the 25th minute, Lu Yuan Chen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CLAYMORE COUNTRY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a little luck, CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Eduardo Martini got control of the ball when 许明卫 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CLAYMORE COUNTRY's zone, 许明卫 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Martini came out of the goal and 许明卫 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute Lu Yuan Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pan FC made a substitution. Erki Uba replaced Primitivo Laurendi. The Pan FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CLAYMORE COUNTRY were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaldo Urtzi to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Pan FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Quirce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lu Yuan Chen. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Urtzi in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Martini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CLAYMORE COUNTRY eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
