Weather Piedrahita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wágner Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wágner Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Herbella's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Florencio Herbella shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wágner Antunes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Tinoco in the 33rd minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Weather Piedrahita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Weather Piedrahita made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Egídio Tinoco sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the game, Hitzeder Serans threw the ball into play from the sideline. Capivariano F.C.'s Nando Rossi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Weather Piedrahita came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Capivariano F.C.'s Egídio Tinoco. But to his dismay, Egídio Tinoco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Herbella to make the kick off. Wágner Antunes made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Lucas Sardaneta sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the game, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wágner Antunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 64 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Tinoco came free, but Weather Piedrahita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wágner Antunes made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Florencio Herbella sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th match minute, Atletico Maturrango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Herbella to maneuver through the defense. Atletico Maturrango's Ederono Ojero was substituted for Florencio Herbella. Capivariano F.C.'s Lukas Martinsson was substituted for Egídio Tinoco. Atletico Maturrango made a substitution. Orlin Hinojosa replaced Lucas Sardaneta. Florencio Herbella hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Lukas Martinsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Weather Piedrahita was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. With a little luck, Capivariano F.C.'s Wágner Antunes got control of the ball when Ederono Ojero tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukas Martinsson in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Weather Piedrahita saved Atletico Maturrango from getting behind. After 93 played minutes Capivariano F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Varela. 95 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's Hitzeder Serans broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
