Bryan Hui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Nataniel in the 4th minute of the match. Bryan Hui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Nataniel's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Wong Butcher in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adan Lartaun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Adan Lartaun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Quilmes's Adan Lartaun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Quilmes from getting a goal against them. Oakham's Bryan Hui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Laurendi in the 16th minute of play. Jacobo Lauro took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryan Hui. Bryan Hui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adan Lartaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wong Butcher, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute Wong Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quilmes's Adan Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wong Butcher in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Quilmes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Barrionuevo to maneuver through the defense. Adan Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wong Butcher in the 26th minute of play. Jerry Soon struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Adan Lartaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oakham. The attack was good, but when Dionisio Laurendi in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Khai Amin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Adan Lartaun made a huge save. The supporters of Quilmes booed when Oakham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wong Butcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Nataniel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Wong Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Koh came free, but Adan Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Braulio Barrionuevo could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Bryan Hui however easily saved by the left post. 69 minutes into the match, Braulio Barrionuevo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryan Hui. Quilmes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oakham the free kick. The supporters of Oakham booed when Quilmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Nataniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Wong Butcher came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Oakham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wong Butcher couldn't finish the play. Bryan Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Laurendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Quilmes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
