Aliverpool's Stefanos Topoudis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harm de Freitas in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes Harm de Freitas rounded Aliverpool's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 8th minute Panos Kouretas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Răducu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of MarquinhosEC booed when Aliverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Kalofolias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefanos Topoudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Di Blasio in the 10th minute of play. Curt Montes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Stefanos Topoudis made a huge save. After some careless play in the Aliverpool defense, Fausto Di Blasio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefanos Topoudis. The Aliverpool fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefanos Topoudis should have stopped the shot. Stefanos Topoudis was a little too slow when Harm de Freitas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 19th minute, Fausto Di Blasio made a precise shot to the right of Stefanos Topoudis. Aliverpool's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Stefanos Topoudis was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Alessandro do Valle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alessandro do Valle really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Matei Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Flor in the 32nd minute of the match. Gabriel Martini was slow to take the kick. During this time MarquinhosEC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MarquinhosEC's corner Gabriel Martini fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stefanos Topoudis quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to MarquinhosEC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Pedrinho Siqueira hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Roger Flor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harm de Freitas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 9-0 in the 45th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Flor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stefanos Topoudis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Curt Montes went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Stefanos Topoudis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro do Valle in the 53rd minute of the match. Stefanos Topoudis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harm de Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Fausto Di Blasio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Stefanos Topoudis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stefanos Topoudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm de Freitas in the 60th minute of play. MarquinhosEC's Marco Tardelli was substituted for Harm de Freitas. Barrie Deacon took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefanos Topoudis. Stefanos Topoudis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. Stefanos Topoudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Freitas in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Fausto Di Blasio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Stefanos Topoudis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, Inácio Freitas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefanos Topoudis was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. Barrie Deacon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stefanos Topoudis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Di Blasio in the 82nd minute of the match. After 82 minutes, Fausto Di Blasio made it 16-0 with a short kick to the right side. Aliverpool's Stefanos Topoudis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Inácio Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefanos Topoudis. Aliverpool's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inácio Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 17-0. In the 88th minute, Fausto Di Blasio made a precise shot to the right of Stefanos Topoudis. Aliverpool's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 18-0. In the 91st minute, Fausto Di Blasio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MarquinhosEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 19-0. In the 93rd minute, Fausto Di Blasio made a precise shot to the right of Stefanos Topoudis. Aliverpool's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 20-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MarquinhosEC had played much better football throughout.
