In the 17th minute Qiao Yan Jie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Catarinense in the 21st minute of play. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ediberto Porto came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike. But to his dismay, Cristian Naike quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Lúcio Catarinense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Vitin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some careless play in the CRISDIELDAN defense, Cristian Naike kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ediberto Porto. The CRISDIELDAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ediberto Porto should have stopped the shot. Cristian Naike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Naike to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Cristian Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediberto Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ediberto Porto came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike. But to his dismay, Cristian Naike quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Elpidio Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Naike in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ediberto Porto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind CRISDIELDAN's goalkeeper Ediberto Porto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ediberto Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Naike's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute Marquinhos Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Qiao Yan Jie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CRISDIELDAN's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Cristian Naike who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CRISDIELDAN's Ediberto Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Leme in the 94th minute of play forced Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Elpidio Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vélez Juniors fully deserved thier win.
