Spectators: 7830 (Terracing: 5874, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nolan Roux took the kick off in the first half of the match. Peter Belkå made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nolan Roux in the 2nd minute of play. When Monte Susanin came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the The Old Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monte Susanin couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's Monte Susanin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lev Yashin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as The Old Boys's Monte Susanin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lev Yashin. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Peter Belkå showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ange Lochet in the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monte Susanin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lev Yashin saved Le Stade Briochin UC from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Jaime Tabor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Belkå. The Old Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Tabor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Peter Belkå showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Tabor in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Jaime Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Belkå saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monte Susanin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's Monte Susanin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lev Yashin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Monte Susanin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monte Susanin got free with Lev Yashin in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Susanin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Monte Susanin managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Old Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Monte Susanin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lev Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pierre-Louis Eudeline fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Le Stade Briochin UC's protests and gave Pierre-Louis Eudeline a yellow card for diving instead. Pierre-Louis Eudeline hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Lev Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cemal Palabıyık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Old Boys's Paulino Sayvion was substituted for Jose Ignazio. Le Stade Briochin UC's Renan Leveau was substituted for Malik Courtine.

The wind increased when Paulino Sayvion made the kick off in the second half. After 68 played minutes The Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Cemal Palabıyık. Le Stade Briochin UC's Clovis Janvier was substituted for Ange Lochet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nolan Roux in the 76th minute of play forced The Old Boys's goalkeeper Peter Belkå to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
