Aro FC's Harry Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Shea Caballero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Harry Higuita was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aro FC's Harry Higuita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Aro FC from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute Ola Toivonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gottfrid Haström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pihl United the free kick. Sandu Musteatã kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Gottfrid Haström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Svartengren in the 40th minute of play. Sandu Musteatã received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gottfrid Haström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gottfrid Haström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Svartengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sune Svartengren to strike the kick off in the second half. Harry Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Higuita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Pihl United's Gottfrid Haström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Toivonen in the 63rd minute of play. Sune Svartengren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 69th playminute. Daniel Waselewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Higuita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Harry Higuita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Waselewicz went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Harry Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Waselewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Harry Higuita came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Pihl United's Daniel Waselewicz. But to his dismay, Daniel Waselewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pihl United had won after a very even match.
