Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Žigmund Csontos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oskar Haeger was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. AFK Petržalka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Pekarík in the 18th minute. In the 21st match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Al Capone to maneuver through the defense. Adam Hrdina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Di Filippo in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Žigmund Csontos made the kick off in the second half. Oskar Haeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Hudák in the 50th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Hudák came free, but Oskar Haeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Ingemar Stålman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermanö Oilers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 74 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Harry Forsman.
