Yves Passot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Chico Donato made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Martinescu came free, but Christophe Troxler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Niculae Martinescu got free in front of the goal in the 13th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Christophe Troxler was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Yves Passot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Donato. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yves Passot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Passot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Niculae Martinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yves Passot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chico Donato having to make a save. In the 31st minute Olivier Gilg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Montevideo City Torque players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DIPLOMATA FC PAB were winning 1-2.

Christophe Troxler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niculae Martinescu in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's José Augusto Lara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Montevideo City Torque made a substitution. Reuben Meade replaced Cristian Leizaur. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Meade in the 65th minute of play. Gu Sha Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Donato having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquín Guzmán to maneuver through the defense. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Meade in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Délio Furtado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. The Montevideo City Torque supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching DIPLOMATA FC PAB's performance. The match ended with a win for DIPLOMATA FC PAB.
