Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc-Aurèle Bougault in the 22nd minute of play. If Bento Chandeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christophe Troxler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Chandeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 26th minute, but Beat Vid got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Aioros FC hanging dry this time. After some careless play in the Montevideo City Torque defense, Bento Chandeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christophe Troxler. The Montevideo City Torque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christophe Troxler should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Reuben Meade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beat Vid was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yves Passot to make the kick off. Aioros FC's Beat Vid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Meade in the 51st minute of play. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reuben Meade, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo City Torque from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillelme Lomas in the 58th minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Yves Passot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Vid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Montevideo City Torque's Brent-Jan Van den Driesch got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Aioros FC made a substitution. Wang Qi Chang replaced Gilbert Alströmmer. After 66 played minutes Aioros FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Agerbo. Aioros FC's Xencio Sierro was substituted for Domingo Perón. A collision led to Aioros FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nicolas Agerbo hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Bento Chandeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christophe Troxler was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Aioros FC made a substitution. Jose Miguel Núñez replaced Bento Chandeiro. 77 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reuben Meade came free, but Beat Vid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match, Xencio Sierro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christophe Troxler was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Beat Vid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reuben Meade in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Ticho Covarrubias threw the ball into play from the sideline. Aioros FC's Marc-Aurèle Bougault quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
