Bertil Häger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Hala Madrid Iraki FC's zone, Baltazar Clavijo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Häger came out of the goal and Baltazar Clavijo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yakup Sargut was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Bertil Häger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Hala Madrid Iraki FC from getting a goal against them. Bertil Häger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Grover's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Bertil Häger came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund's Baltazar Clavijo. But to his dismay, Baltazar Clavijo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Omar Orlanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Bertil Häger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Bertil Häger got control of the ball when Fernando Grover tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Hala Madrid Iraki FC defense, Fernando Grover kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertil Häger. The Hala Madrid Iraki FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertil Häger should have stopped the shot. The Borussia Dortmund fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Borussia Dortmund's Fernando Grover looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 36 minutes, Fernando Grover made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Bertil Häger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Grover who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Bertil Häger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bertil Häger came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund's Fernando Grover. But to his dismay, Fernando Grover quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Östen Henriksson to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Tomas Levander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertil Häger. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Levander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 54thth minute of the game Fernando Grover who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Bertil Häger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Borussia Dortmund's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yakup Sargut in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Borussia Dortmund were awarded a corner. Yakup Sargut went to the cornerflag to take it. After 59 minutes, Tomas Levander made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Bertil Häger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bertil Häger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fatih-Sultan Mehmet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Levander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Bertil Häger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertil Häger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Clavijo in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hala Madrid Iraki FC defense, Baltazar Clavijo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertil Häger. The Hala Madrid Iraki FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertil Häger should have stopped the shot. Fernando Grover struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Bertil Häger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. Bertil Häger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Clavijo in the 79th minute of play. Bertil Häger didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Borussia Dortmund's Fernando Grover shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 15-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Bertil Häger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltazar Clavijo went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 16-0 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, Astor Odol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertil Häger was frozen by the shot and now it was 17-0. Bertil Häger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Grover's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Bertil Häger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Clavijo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Borussia Dortmund players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
