In the 21st minute Pedrão de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonni Fjøle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Sonni Fjøle made a huge save. Sonni Fjøle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão de Amorim in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão de Amorim in the 28th minute of play forced GFG VOEL's goalkeeper Sonni Fjøle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Vadgaard in the 33rd minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Erik Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Snel in the 37th minute of the match. Sonni Fjøle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrão de Amorim in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonni Fjøle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SoS FC were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after GFG VOEL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christer Bratt took the corner. The corner led SoS FC's Tommy Boylin to fire away a dangerous shot which Sonni Fjøle despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sonni Fjøle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Boylin in the 79th minute of play. Karl-Erik Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Snel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Tommy Boylin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonni Fjøle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Tommy Boylin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sonni Fjøle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. GFG VOEL made a substitution. Timo Lanng replaced Guillelme Casuso. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SoS FC had won after a very even match.
