When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Dé Montenegro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Zhuo Yan Chao. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF. Anderson Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhuo Yan Chao having to interfere. Hélio Botelhos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Carlos Augusto Quintal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 48 minutes into the match, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Paiva came free, but Zhuo Yan Chao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Dé Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Zhuo Yan Chao was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Anderson Paiva got free with Zhuo Yan Chao in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
