After 7 minutes of play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leonides Rosio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kazimierz Wielkopolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th match minute, Flying Hellfish was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilla Tüzüner to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes Flying Hellfish got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Tüzüner. Kazimierz Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Rosio in the 14th minute of play. Prospero Mergildo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Afloroaiei in the 20th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Lester Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Daniel Afloroaiei took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lester Serre to make any attempt to save it. If Venancio Piorno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Camilo Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of San Lorenzo de Sarandi booed when Flying Hellfish was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Afloroaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lester Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Carlucci in the 65th minute of the match. After 67 minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Everitt Obree who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Everitt Obree got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lester Serre quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 71 minutes into the match, Flying Hellfish's goalkeeper Kazimierz Wielkopolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Mouricio. After some careless play in the Flying Hellfish defense, Leonides Rosio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kazimierz Wielkopolski. The Flying Hellfish fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kazimierz Wielkopolski should have stopped the shot. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold was substituted for Venancio Piorno. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Ceferino Cuervo replaced Camilo Mouricio. With a little luck, Flying Hellfish's Kazimierz Wielkopolski got control of the ball when Ceferino Cuervo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Karl Howarth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Howarth in the 93rd minute of play.
