With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Tino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes of play, Sydney FC's Emanuel Ogășanu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Ogășanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Titz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 51st minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sydney FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club El Progreso.
