The Peace Home Street Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Oskar Hedberg should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anders Kielberg. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabinho dos Santos made a kick off. Roberto-Carlos Håland kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th minute Anders Kielberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabinho dos Santos got free with Per-Oskar Hedberg in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Acácio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Kielberg in the 63rd minute of play. Anders Kielberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kayacan Müjdat in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Kayacan Müjdat made a precise shot to the right of Acácio Lara. Club Athletico Paulistano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Peace Home Street Boys's Aaron Svartengren was substituted for Kayacan Müjdat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Strömqvist in the 83rd minute of play forced Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acácio Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Kielberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 91 minutes Peace Home Street Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Agnaldo Mattos who took care of the corner kick. Club Athletico Paulistano's Agnaldo Mattos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Per-Oskar Hedberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anders Kielberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Acácio Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Club Athletico Paulistano were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Peace Home Street Boys side.
