Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Alles in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the Quetzal Flyers Hammers defense, Gunnar Alles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francesco Marines. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francesco Marines should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Frank Lampard got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Alles in the 43rd minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Francesco Marines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Noble hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Francesco Marines made an important save on a dangerous shot by August Lass in the 59th minute. Francesco Marines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Alles in the 62nd minute of play. In the 98th minute, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Silver Nurk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Although Quetzal Flyers Hammers had been in control for most of the match, FC Rebel still came away with the win.
