Filipe da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Sune Rudberg made a huge save. 袁思远 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe da Rocha came free, but Sune Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máximo Banguero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Antoniu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Máximo Banguero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Filanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Sol in the 33rd minute of play forced Stal Sanok's goalkeeper Sune Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sune Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Sol in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Sigmar Gustafson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Banguero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sune Rudberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Sol went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Conrado Sol made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Stal Sanok getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ari Hakanpää hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Máximo Banguero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MAN.UTD-阿贵 had played much better football throughout.
