Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Davide Rinaldi kicked off to start the match. Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Castanheira in the 5th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fidel Jokin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fortunato Sangermano. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 11th minute Miguel Castanheira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Sangermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortunato Sangermano made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Rafa Santos Borré sent off a good shot on target. Gervasio Ixaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Rinaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kleanthis Zoumakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The supporters of Herta Budino booed when Vipos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nasos Aquilino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Davide Rinaldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Ixaka was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gervasio Ixaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Rinaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Angelo Di Livio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Ixaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herta Budino were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Vipos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fábio Grosso took the corner. Fábio Grosso made a great header on Herta Budino's corner, it was just that Vipos FC's Gervasio Ixaka managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Jokin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Pedro Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Ixaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match Herta Budino got a corner. Vipos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fábio Grosso ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Davide Rinaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Sangermano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Castanheira in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kleanthis Zoumakis came free, but Gervasio Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herta Budino's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fábio Grosso in the 69th minute. Kleanthis Zoumakis was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gervasio Ixaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 73rd minute of play. Vipos FC's Waldemar Grabowicz was substituted for Viggo Bengtsson. A nice corner shot did that Angelo Di Livio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gervasio Ixaka quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davide Rinaldi got free with Gervasio Ixaka in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Davide Rinaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herta Budino's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Rinaldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Ixaka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fidel Jokin struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Fortunato Sangermano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vipos FC. Rafa Santos Borré fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Sangermano having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ixaka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Di Livio. Fidel Jokin took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fortunato Sangermano. Fortunato Sangermano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
